Hello beautiful people, I’m Sam!
Welcome to Lotus Heart Yoga, my name is Samantha (Sam). I am a creative person and try to see the beauty that surrounds me. I have many creative sides: drawing, painting, cooking, gardening, just to name a few. I love being a Mum, Yoga teacher and Artist who always leads from my heart with softness and generosity. My teaching style is intuitive, and I facilitate workshops and retreats both on my own and through collaborations with other beautiful humans who are on the same vibration.

My Story
Being an empath, I have always felt people’s energy and struggled separating theirs from mine. Living in a constant fight or flight state, for most of my life, always "doing", never resting, exhausted and anxious, burning out and not knowing how to switch off was normal. Keeping busy was how I lived!
With a diverse background as a Graphic Designer, Make- Up artist, Florist and Chef. I can now truly say I have found my calling being a Yoga teacher and Art facilitator. Immersing myself in my yoga practice for the last 15 years and choosing it as a lifestyle created new beginnings. The profound transformation yoga has brought into my life has shown me the power of holding space for others.
As a teacher, I’ve come to realize that creating a space for others to grow can spark positive, lasting changes. There is a unique, unspoken exchange that takes place before and after each class—a connection that can’t quite be put into words, but is felt deeply.
To actually stop, breathe and let go of guilt created a new awakening.
To be back in my heart centre and not live in my head, allowed some freedom to begin healing. I finally realised how important it is to just “be” allowing stillness, to ground myself, through yoga, gentle movement, in nature, gardening, sun on my face, walking barefoot, making art, taking a bath or a simple nap!
Listening to my heart, I could finally hear my inner voice again, my intuition. Making clearer choices invited more peace in my life. My nervous system was calmer so boundaries came in. I let go of fear, blame, judgement and all the past stories. A heavy weight started lifting and I became lighter feeling safer in the world... Joy was sneaking in, I was finally home!
Through the simple act of showing up, we honour the precious gift of time and space. Every practice, no matter how small, brings us closer to self-awareness and growth. All it takes is the commitment to be present in your life, on and off the mat.
